Weekly breakdown:
Week 1 : Explore how personal perception shapes what and how you photograph.
Exercise: Photograph something ordinary as if you were seeing it for the first time.
Focus: Observation, presence, sensitivity to light, texture and mood.Week 2 : Introduction to visual metaphors, abstraction and emotion in image making.
Exercise: Create a set of photographs that express a feeling without showing the actual subject

About Ashima
Ashima Raizada is an artist and photographer whose practice spans photography, collage, and mixed media. Her work is rooted in everyday observation and a sustained inquiry into the self — its representations, its boundaries, its play. She has exhibited at XXL Gallery, Mumbai; Dhi Art Space, Hyderabad; Alliance Française de Dhaka; and the Experimental Photo Festival, Barcelona. A finalist for the Lucie Scholarship Program 2024 and recipient of the Generator Art Production Grant 2024, she was named one of Hindustan Times' Top 30 Under 30 in 2018.
